Geauga Lake's Wildwater Kingdom

On Cedar Point's webpage they have a list of the other Cedar Fair properties - and they've updated Geauga Lake's entry to better reflect their murder to the amusement park there.

They're using a new logo, seen to the left, which makes the Geauga Lake park smaller - we can only hope in the future they'll shrink it down to nothing and stop making mention of GL at all.

Oh, and they actually had the guts to write this about the property: "Since its debut in 2005, Wildwater Kingdom has grown in size and popularity."

Yeah, it may be bigger, with the wave pool - but making it sound so popular and expanded is yet another slap in the face to fans of the now dead amusement side!

I don't know what help it is to them to still try to hold onto its former identity. I'm sure the reasoning is that many Cleveland locals don't know Geauga Lake ceased to exist, however, this is going to be a PR/customer service nightmare once they realize the extent of the non-water rides genocide. It's likely better to stick to the "Wildwater Kingdom" identity.
